Toby finished his busy season, so we decided to take a few days for a family trip. We didn't have it all planned out, but we know we wanted to experience Fall. Our mission was to see some beautiful fall foilage, eat some fresh crisp apples, drink some hot apple cider, and enjoy some warm baked bread and apple pie. We did all except the apple pie. First we visited Toby's family in Royal City, where on the way we found a great Farmer's fruit stand with yummy apples. Wow, I've never seen Boedy chow down on an apple like that! The next day we stayed in Lake Chelan and enjoyed the small town charm and beauty of the lake. Then we stopped in Leavenworth on the way home and enjoyed the beautiful fall colors and "swiss mountain" atmosphere there. We love the charm of that Christmas like village. It was a great trip even though we all caught a horrible cold the second day. I guess that's part of Fall too.
